Ahrens Work Transition Program wraps up snack bag making efforts

The numbers are in and the Ahrens Work Transition Program students made 2434 snack bags over the last two months!

All snack bags created during this collaboration will be distributed to those who need them the most - people experiencing homelessness and food insecurity in the Louisville, Kentucky area.

This is an outstanding effort and wouldn't have been possible without the support of the community, the staff and teachers, and Jefferson County Public Schools. Thanks to everyone who donated and thanks so much to the students for your hard work!

Don't forget to subscribe to our web site and follow us on Facebook for updates. Thanks for your support of Snacks in Sacks.
